In addition to Duke Health’s relocation assistance, nurse loan forgiveness, RN tuition assistance, team member referral and certification bonuses, sign-on bonus, and comprehensive health benefits heart fosters professional growth and work life balance.

Team members on these six stepdown units innovate and participate in nursing research. Additionally, team members benefit from supportive leadership that is dedicated to your development. In order to provide and maintain levels of optimal care for patients and families, the heart team took a multipronged approach to adequately staff its units. Read about these efforts and ways these teams support a healthy work environment for team members and leaders—including self-scheduling, straight shifts and weekend options—in this American Association of Critical Care Nurses story.
